For this material, I wanted to experiment more with modeling and sculpting instead of making it purely procedurally. I started out by blocking everything out in Blender, then sculpting the stylized detail in ZBrush. I then brought it back into Blender so that I could repeat the first set of blocks and pillars with an array modifier to make it tile so that I could bake all the maps in Painter. Finally, I brought all the maps into Designer so I could add the tiling patterns and moss and work on the color. The final images are rendered in Marmoset.
